⚠️ Penalties for Violations

Electricity Theft: Imprisonment up to 3 years and/or fine up to ₹10,000

Meter Tampering: Fine up to ₹1,00,000 and disconnection

Unauthorized Connection: Penalty of 6 times the tariff for consumed energy

Non-compliance with Safety Standards: Fine as per electricity safety rules
